Does WiFi Pose a Threat to Your Health?

Unless you’re living in the Stone Age, chances are pretty good that you have a WiFi connection in your home. You probably also work somewhere that has a WiFi network, and you visit restaurants, stores, hotels, and other locations with open public WiFi connections. Basically, you’re exposed to WiFi – and its invisible wireless radiation – almost all of the time. But is it actually safe?

The answer to that can be complicated. No, WiFi is not dangerous in the sense that you walk into an electromagnetic field, immediately begin to show alarming symptoms, and die on the spot. That’s pretty silly, and if that happened, you wouldn’t be reading this blog right now. The human species would be nearly extinct by this point!

However, considerable evidence does indicate that regular exposure to wireless radiation from WiFi can indeed kick off a series of biological changes within your body. And over time, those changes can progress into cancer and neurodegenerative diseases. That’s why the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) classifies wireless radiation as a class 2B possible carcinogen. Because cancer takes years to develop, WiFi could be dangerous even though people don’t develop cancer upon their first exposure to WiFi.

We’re talking more about long-term, regular exposure. Remember, cigarettes were once thought to be harmless. Some doctors even touted the benefits of smoking tobacco! But over the decades, emerging research painted a different story. Now, many experts believe we might be going down a similar path with WiFi exposure.

Wireless devices emit positive ions, but don’t let the word “positive” fool you. Think of your own electromagnetic energy (everything on Earth has it) as a balance that keeps you at the right frequency. Add too much of the “positive” ions, and you’re unbalanced.

So, what can you do to lessen the effects of wireless radiation from your WiFi exposure? For one thing, turn off your router at night; it’s likely that you don’t even need WiFi for at least 8 hours per day, so why lie there and continue exposing yourself to it? Of course, it would be even better if you could give up WiFi entirely, and hardwire all of your devices with ethernet cables.

Aside from your wireless router, many of the devices in your home also emit wireless radiation. Keep your cell phone on the airplane mode when you aren’t using it, and turn off devices like laptops and tablets. Leaving these things running all of the time only multiples your exposure to wireless radiation.

Finally,  you can install a simple, patented device which can protect you from electromagnetic radiation. Your wireless devices will still function normally, but the guard device emits its own energy which neutralizes the harmful effects of wireless radiation.
